Your First Day with DailyDial

Welcome. This guide assumes nothing — no sales software experience, no jargon you haven’t heard before. By the end, you’ll have made your first call through DailyDial and logged the result. That’s it. That’s the whole system.

Step 1: Add Your First Account

An “account” is just a customer or prospect you want to keep in touch with. Go to Accounts in the top menu and click Add Account. Fill in the business name and a contact person if you have one — everything else is optional, and you can always add more detail later.

Don’t overthink this. Add one real customer or prospect you actually need to follow up with. You’ll understand the rest of the system much faster once there’s something real in it.

Step 2: Set a Cadence

A “cadence” just means how often you want to be reminded to check in with that account. When you add an account, you’ll be asked how often to follow up — weekly, every two weeks, monthly, whatever suits that relationship.

Not sure? Start with monthly for existing customers and weekly for active prospects you’re trying to win. You can change this any time.

Step 3: Check Your Dashboard

Go to Dashboard. This is the only screen you need to check every day. It shows exactly who’s due a call today, based on the cadence you set — nothing more, nothing less. No spreadsheet to maintain, no list to build yourself.

If you’ve only added one account, you might not see it here yet unless it’s actually due — that’s normal, it means the system is working correctly rather than nagging you unnecessarily.

Step 4: Make the Call and Log It

When an account shows up on your list, make the call. Afterwards, come back to that account and add a quick note about what happened — a sentence is enough (“Left voicemail,” “Interested, wants a quote,” “Not ready yet, check back in a month”).

Logging the outcome does two things: it keeps a record you can look back on, and it resets the clock on that account’s cadence, so it drops off today’s list and reappears exactly when it’s due again.

What Happens Next

That’s the entire loop: check the Dashboard, make the calls it shows you, log what happened. Add accounts as you think of them. The system quietly keeps track of who needs a call and when, so you don’t have to hold it all in your head or in a spreadsheet that gets out of date.
