Everything about your own account, rather than your customers’ — reached from Settings in the top menu.
Profile
Your name, email, and a short description of your business. The business description isn’t just for show — it’s used to tailor AI-powered features (like account call sheets) to what you actually sell, so it’s worth filling in properly rather than leaving generic.
Changing Your Password
Enter your current password plus a new one (minimum 8 characters) twice to confirm. You’ll need your current password to make the change, so there’s no way to reset it from within Settings if you’ve forgotten it entirely — use the “Forgot password” link on the login page instead.
Notification Preferences
Turn the daily email digest on or off, and set your daily call limit here — the same limit covered in Calls, Cadence and Follow-Up, which also controls how newly imported accounts get spread across upcoming days.
Two-Factor Authentication
Settings has a link through to set up 2FA. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar), then enter the 6-digit code it generates to confirm and enable it. Once enabled, that code is required alongside your password every time you log in.
To disable 2FA, you’ll need to enter a current valid code from your authenticator app — this is a deliberate safeguard, so a stolen password alone can’t be used to turn 2FA off. If you’ve lost access to your authenticator app, contact support rather than trying to work around it.
Full Backup and Restore
This is different from the CSV export covered in Adding and Managing Accounts. CSV export is accounts only, useful for spreadsheets. The full backup in Settings downloads a JSON file containing every account and its entire call history, capped at 5MB — genuinely useful before making a big change, or just as a periodic safety copy.
Restoring uploads that JSON file back in. If the backup contains more accounts than your current plan allows, the restore is blocked rather than partially importing, so you won’t end up with a silently incomplete restore.
Billing and Subscription
Managing your plan, updating your card, downloading invoices and cancelling all happen through Stripe’s secure billing portal, reached with one click from the Billing section — DailyDial itself never sees or stores your card details directly.
